Using CommentSift

By using CommentSift you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. CommentSift uses YouTube API Services, so by using CommentSift you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

What CommentSift does

CommentSift reads what people wrote in a YouTube video's public comments and description and suggests the name of the anime, manhwa, manga, webtoon, movie or TV show shown. The answers come from other viewers and public databases, so they can be wrong or missing. Check the links we give before relying on an answer.

Other people's content

Videos, comments, titles and artwork belong to their creators and owners. CommentSift shows short quotes of public comments to explain where an answer came from, with a link back to YouTube. It doesn't host or play any videos.

The CommentSift™ name and logo are our trademarks.

Fair use of the service

• Don't use scripts or bots to send lookups, and don't try to get around the hourly limit.
• Don't use CommentSift to collect comments or other YouTube data in bulk.
• Don't send feedback that is abusive, illegal or someone else's private information.
• Only add names you believe are right. Names you add can be shown to other visitors, and we may remove any name without notice.

Tips and paid plans

CommentSift is free. Tips through Ko-fi are optional and don't unlock anything. If we add paid features later, their price and terms will be shown clearly before you pay.

No guarantee

CommentSift is provided as it is, without warranties. It may be slow, unavailable, or out of free lookups for the day. We're not responsible for losses from relying on an answer. You use it at your own risk.
